Researcher on data-driven multi-modal Human-Robot Interaction. Advised by Prof. Tony Belpaeme and Prof. Thomas Demeester. Member of the Artificial Intelligence and Robotics team, part of IDLab at Ghent University and affiliated with imec. General Chair of HRI Pioneers 2025, organiser of the 2022 HRI Winter School on Embodied AI in Ghent and FEARS 2022. Representing assistant staff in the Educational Council of UGent, the Faculty Council of the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture and in the Computer Science Engineering programme committee.
Member of the Executive Committee of the European Students' Union. Advocating the students' voice in Learning & Teaching policy, Digitalisation of Education, the European Universities Initiative and Mental Health, as part of the "Quality of Education" cluster. Member of the Bologna Follow-Up Group Working group on Learning & Teaching and EUA's Learning and Teaching Steering Committee.
