My role as a student ambassador has involved providing tours for prospective students as well as outreach. I have been involved in promoting The Finlay Family Bursary to potential Scottish applicants.
I spent a month working at Ladywell Medical Centre in Edinburgh, updating the NHS computer records with a backlog of medical data from patients in the practice's catchment. This work also involved handling and ordering repeat prescriptions.
I worked as a barista 2 half days a week in The Chambers Café at the royal high school.
As a young leader at my local scout group I spent an evening every week working with Cubs and Scouts. This included planning and organising meets, risk assessment, and looking out for the welfare of the young people involved. As part of this role, I have completed training in first-aid from St John's Ambulance, as well as safety training organised by the scout group.
As part of NYCOS, we had the privilege of performing on a production of La Bohème: direct from the Teatro Regio Torino, (the opera house that gave the opera its very first staging in 1896) with Gianandrea Noseda conducting.
