Graduation internship where I looked into the dynamics and control of a Hydrofoil craft (the Flying Fish 1). I managed to perform a system identification experiment with which I was able to improve the control system.
Oversaw the Vehicle Dynamics department, coordinating the design and build process of all moving components on the hydrogen-powered hydrofoil vessel. Contributed to the development of an active height control system, covering both software and hardware aspects. This PID-based feedback system adjusts the angle of attack (AoA) of each foil in real time to ensure optimal stability and performance.
