Almarai is the largest dairy (milk, laban, cheese, Y&D) and fruit juice processor in the Arabian Gulf. Currently experiencing aggressive expansion in to bakery, poultry and infant nutrition, plus significant joint ventures with Pepsico in Egypt and Jordan. Current turnover 1.8 billion euros. With a team of 15 packaging development managers and technologists, we are resopnsible for delivering packaging development projects for the business, value optimization, packaging innovation and technical support, whilst ensuring that rigorous standards of quality are maintained.

The UK division is primarily focused on the processing and supply of fresh and UHT milk, cream and butter to retailers and the growth of the successful Cravendale milk brand. Responsible for recruiting and leading a team of high calibre packaging technologists to develop new packaging, improve performance of existing packaging, deliver value through total cost of ownership initiatives, creating and delivering the packaging and environment strategy, seeking new innovation opportunities and developing strong strategic supplier relationships
