Raquel Saraiva is a global executive and board advisor with over two decades of experience leading finance transformation, tax strategy, and enterprise change across complex, multinational environments. As the Global Head of Finance Processes, Transformation and Transitions at A.P. Moller – Maersk, the world’s largest container shipping and logistics company, she leads a high-performing global team focused on reimagining and optimizing end-to-end finance operations to support Maersk’s strategic transformation agenda. Her remit spans process excellence, digital enablement, culture competence and transition management—ensuring that finance functions are agile, future-ready, and aligned with evolving business needs. Raquel brings deep expertise in finance, corporate and international tax, M&A, IFRS, and regulatory compliance, combined with a proven ability to harmonize systems, scale solutions, and lead cross-border transitions. She has completed executive leadership programs at Harvard Business School, INSEAD, and IMD, where she sharpened her capabilities in strategic communication, innovation leadership, and cross-functional collaboration.
