JETCO seeks to increase trade between UK and India within the Education and Skills Sector. The role of chairman was to meet with the minister and his advisory team to recommend and agree an agenda focused on increasing bi lateral trade between UK and India. The identification of barriers to growth and negotiating international solutions was key to the process. Chairing the meeting with ministers from the UK and India alongside senior civil servants enabled me to drive the agenda towards closer collaboration and partnerships between UK and Indian skills, education and university. This has resulted significant new commercial relationships, new orders, increased market share and market entry for many UK companies. My network in India within the skills/education and government sectors covers the whole of India. My commercial interests now expand outside the skills/education sector and I have business interests across India.
