As a strategic advisor to the Senior Leadership Team, I lead Innovation and AI across Dentons UKIME, defining the firm’s response to emerging technologies and embedding digital capability at the core of legal service delivery. Operating at the intersection of law, technology, strategy, and governance, I drive the responsible adoption of AI and digital solutions—enabling scalable transformation for both the firm and its clients. Key impact includes: establishing AI governance frameworks to balance innovation with risk, leading the rollout of generative AI capabilities across the business, and shaping the firm’s innovation operating model to accelerate adoption and deliver measurable client and operational value.
As Head of Legal Solutions at Mishcon de Reya, I defined and led the firm’s strategy for legal technology, innovation, and digital enablement - positioning the function at the core of legal service transformation and client value creation. Key contributions included: * Setting the Innovation Strategy: Established and scaled the Litigation and Transaction Support Hubs, creating enterprise capability for the rapid deployment of advanced legal technologies—including machine learning and natural language processing—across complex legal matters. * Leading Generative AI Transformation: Directed the design and firm-wide rollout of deReyAI, the firm’s first generative AI platform (launched September 2023), shaping product vision, governance, and adoption strategy to embed AI into day-to-day legal workflows. * Driving Strategic Change: Led multi-disciplinary collaboration across MDR LAB, technology vendors, legal service providers, data scientists, Professional Support Lawyers, legal teams, and the Mishcon Academy to operationalise innovation, streamline delivery, and accelerate adoption at scale. Operating at the intersection of law, technology, and strategy, I translated emerging capabilities into practical, high-impact solutions - modernising legal service delivery and embedding a culture of innovation across the firm. (Previous roles: Legal Solutions Designer, Legal Solutions Lead)
As a litigator specialising in complex regulatory investigations and data protection across healthcare, education, and financial services, I advised institutional clients on high-risk matters while leading client-facing digital and data enablement initiatives. Alongside my practice, I introduced Lean Six Sigma and process engineering methodologies into legal delivery, embedding a new, efficiency-driven approach to managing legal workflows and complex data environments. Key contributions included: * Regulatory & Data Protection Leadership: Data Protection Lead for the regulatory team, advising internally and externally on GDPR, compliance, and data risk across investigations and client engagements. * Digital & Data Enablement: Led client-facing transformation programmes, designing data-driven solutions and operating models to improve transparency and decision-making. * Process Innovation: Pioneered Lean Six Sigma in legal workflows, driving measurable improvements in efficiency, consistency, and scalability. * Programme Leadership: Established the firm’s first digital transformation and data initiatives, embedding technology and process innovation across legal delivery. * Cross-Functional Delivery: Collaborated with legal teams, technologists, and external partners to integrate emerging technologies and enhance data-led services. This combination of regulatory expertise, data protection leadership, and process innovation enabled me to modernise legal delivery and support clients operating in complex, data-driven environments. (Previous roles: Associate, Trainee Solicitor, Head Legal Assistant, Legal Assistant)
Various legal aid paralegal, court clerking and legal research roles during Law School. Birnberg Pierce and Co; Fisher Meredith LLP, Moss and Co Solicitors
In 2003–2004, I was elected to serve as the Local Committee President of AIESEC at University College London, a leadership role overseeing the strategic and operational direction of one of the UK’s most dynamic student-run organisations. Leading a team of 20+ volunteers, I was responsible for managing all aspects of the local committee’s operations - from talent development and financial sustainability to marketing, stakeholder engagement, and international exchange delivery. My focus was on aligning our initiatives with AIESEC’s global mission while applying business strategy principles to drive growth, efficiency, and measurable impact. During my tenure, we achieved a notable increase in exchange volume, secured new corporate and NGO partnerships, and implemented internal systems that improved team productivity and cross-functional collaboration. I introduced a more structured planning cycle, data-driven goal setting, and stakeholder reporting practices - key steps that helped position our committee as a high-performing unit within AIESEC UK.
