Serve as Board Co-President and Chair of the Communications Committee, shaping the Co-op’s voice, messaging, and community-facing strategy. Built a partnership with ULEM that seeded the “Neighbors Feeding Neighbors Fund” to support families experiencing food insecurity. Co-led major public programming with Congresswoman Ayanna Pressley, including a roundtable and press event highlighting community food needs. Featured as a panelist at One Project’s Solidarity Economy convening, where I pitched the Co-op’s $1M campaign to sustain operations over the next two years. Cultivated new philanthropic and corporate relationships through targeted outreach and donor engagement efforts. Produced donor appeals, press content, and neighborhood outreach materials that deepened engagement and increased visibility across Boston. Led communications efforts in response to SNAP benefit cuts, coordinating clear, accessible messaging for residents and member-owners.

As the inaugural Equity Program Officer at the Boston Public Library, I launched and led the library’s first equity program as a one-person team, building its foundation from the ground up. I oversaw eight Equity Working Groups, introduced a multilingual Video Remote Interpretation service in 138 languages, and developed BPL’s first Equity Intern program to empower and diversify Boston’s youth. I also partnered with consultants to bring DEI training and strategy to nearly 500 staff members across the system.
