Responsible for the Space & Mission Systems (SMS) Program Excellence (PMX) Program Support teams and Mission Networks PMX Director. Lead the implementation of PMX capabilities across all tier level 1 pursuits and programs, and other tier levels as defined by Mission Networks. Strategic Program Excellence Develop and implement comprehensive strategies for segment-wide program and pursuit performance. Collaborate with business and functional leadership to enhance program performance and address significant challenges. Assist capture/pursuit teams and program teams with the application of L3Harris best practices and ensure compliance with corporate and segment policies. Program Oversight & Performance Management Conduct independent reviews and program assists as required, including Independent Non-Advocate Reviews, Baseline Reviews, and Performance Assessment Reviews. Monitor program performance against integrated cost-schedule baselines and identify areas for improvement. Ensure proposal adequacy and execution readiness. • Single point of responsibility for all base deployment and contingency planning, preparation, readiness and execution. • Led and supervised 245 maintenance technicians in 7 specialties directly supporting flying and maintenance operations for 28 F-15 aircraft; flew 4,600 sorties without incident. • Managed day-to-day dynamics of complex F-15C flying and maintenance operations, schedules and time compliant activities. • Developed, coordinated, and executed flying schedules, maintenance operations, equipment sustainment operations, and inventory control of $25M in aircraft parts. • Directed and led 3 off-station F-15C deployments and instituted a master craftsman inspection routine, decreasing complex a ircraft phase inspection failures by 33%. • Guided 105 maintenance technicians in sheet metal, metals technology, non-destructive inspections and survival disciplines supporting three F-15C flying squadrons; provided emergency, essential, routine and scheduled off aircraft maintenance. • Led Langley Air Force Base Transient Alert and maintenance element; ensured all non-assigned, transient aircraft including Air Force One, Joint Chiefs of Staff, dignitaries and hundreds of other military aircraft were recovered, serviced and returned to mission. • Commanded aircraft crash and recovery element; responded to 60 inflight emergencies, cautions and diverts without incident. • Spearheaded the local manufacturing of scarce aircraft components and expedited shipping, decreasing aircraft downtime patrolling the “No Fly Zone” over Iraq by 35%. • Garnered multiple awards, including the Hughes Trophy for the best execution of an air superiority mission, Maintenance Effectiveness Award, Lance P.
