My name is Roshan Gurung, originally from Pokhara, Nepal, and now living in Canada. I completed my BBA from Pokhara University, followed by two postgraduate programs: International Business Management at Cambrian College and Digital & Content Marketing at York University. I’ve gained experience in different areas of business over the years—starting with my internship at Worldlink Communications Pvt. Ltd., where I learned how marketing, finance, and teamwork come together in real operations. I later worked at Changa Departmental Stores as a Administrative Assistant and at ABGS Pvt. Ltd. as a Data Entry Assistant, handling transcription, documentation, and daily admin tasks. Since moving to Canada, most of my work has been in the restaurant industry. Even though it’s a different field, it helped me build strong transferable skills: staying organized, communicating clearly, managing time, handling pressure, and working with people from different backgrounds. These experiences strengthened my interest in business, admin roles, and office operations. Outside of work, I’m also a musician and songwriter. I was part of an Alternative Rock band called Mackiller, and we won the 3rd Inter-College Music Competition back in 2014. I’ve also worked as a part-time live audio engineer.
Worked as a marketing intern during the expansion of Fiber Optics Internet technology at Lekhnath municipality. I performed duties like door-to-door marketing, handling customer calls, use of office productivity programs.
