Her love for creative storytelling earned her some unforgettable and coveted assignments: interviewing a US president for a market exclusive on immigration, a US Secretary of State, sitting down with legendary Apollo 11/13 flight director Gene Kranz for a 1.5 hour interview, interviewing NASA astronauts for sweeps coverage, producing and reporting on live rocket launches in Texas and Florida, joining the White House press pool, traveling to Tokyo to cover the 2020 Summer Olympics and following the Houston Astros on several journeys to the World Series. She and her team earned a regional and national Edward R. Murrow for reporting breaking news. KPRC2 also selected Rose-Ann to lead and produce her own series, Generation Under Fire, which focused on school safety and security. Rose-Ann earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Broadcast Journalism from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Rose-Ann was a summa cum laude Bronze Tablet Scholar and salutatorian. She graduated in the top three percent of the university's graduating class. In her spare time, Rose-Ann loves to check out different places to eat! She also loves to learn, especially about different cultures and traditions. She is an advocate for cultural diversity and community engagement. Rose-Ann co-founded a Filipino American young professional leadership chapter and directed the largest leadership development, Filipino leadership conference in the nation. She speaks conversational Italian, loves old school jazz and is only recently retiring as the starting fullback in an all-girls football league. She is in constant search for the best cappuccino.
