I spent my corporate career in the B2B tech space. Quickly I discovered what I loved most about the job: helping companies dig into their DNA + share that story. What do we believe in? Managed the corporate marketing strategy and maintained oversight/execution of: GTM & Lead Generation, SEO, Account-Based Marketing, Brand & Customer Experience, Digital Channels (Social Media, Web), Channel & Partnership Marketing, Events & Sponsorships, Communications & PR, and Marketing Automation Technology (Pardot, Salesforce). Executed the organization's rebrand, managing agencies and third-party vendors to establish new brand positioning, key messaging, visual identity, website copy, and more. In six months, rebrand efforts garnered a 12% growth in social media following, 100k+ social impressions, 3000% growth in social interactions, and a 33% YOY growth in web traffic. Managed the redevelopment and content creation of WCD's new website and digital content by overseeing developers and designers to achieve improved functionality and UX that resulted in a 30% YOY increase in MQLs. Developed and executed on a content marketing and SEO strategy that increased organic web traffic by 67% YOY. Established and optimized WCD's use of Marketing Automation Technology and it's integration with Salesforce CRM (Initially adopted HubSpot, managed the transition to Pardot). Designed, developed and executed on pipeline-building marketing programs including paid ads, SEO strategies, direct mail campaigns, ABM initiatives, and more.
ComplyWorks is a global software-as-a-service (SaaS) company and a leader in compliance management. ComplyWorks' software helps organizations manage their contractor workforce with a focus on workplace health and safety. I lead a customer engagement strategy, successfully launching a recurring webinar series with 1000+ attendees aimed at educating and providing added value to customers. I researched and developed marketing collateral including eBooks, sell sheets, and white papers on complex topics related to compliance, professional standards, and government regulations for industry. I managed the events and brand strategy across key markets in Canada and the US by researching key conferences, tradeshows, and industry events, seeking out speaking and vending opportunities, and managing our presence at those events.
Graycon I.T. (now Ricoh IT Services), is a national Information Technology consulting firm that brings a business-led approach to technology for small and mid-sized organizations across Canada. As a Marketing Coordinator at Graycon, I was responsible for executing on key marketing strategies related to sales enablement, revenue attainment and brand management across Canada. I executed on a national rebrand that included the redefinition of the organization's visual identity, brand positioning, and key messaging to align Graycon with it's new parent organization, Ricoh, following the acquisition. I managed online channels including social media, website, and blog. Increased social engagement by 300% YOY within first year of account takeover, and established a regular bi-weekly cadence on the blog featuring educational and thought-leading content. I executed on the brand positioning strategy and increased brand awareness by hosting three in-house events with 400+ C-level attendees aimed at breaking into new markets (Toronto, Vancouver).
Horizon Housing is a local non-profit organization that provides affordable housing to Calgary's vulnerable residents. As a Marketing & Communications Intern with Horizon Housing, I gained valuable experience executing on tactical marketing strategies. I performed research on grants and government funding, and wrote grant applications to secure significant funding for key capital projects. I managed the planning and execution of the annual client appreciation event, including fundraising, logistics coordination, and media relations that garnered 300+ attendees and local new coverage.
