Rory is Chief of Staff to the Metropolitan Police Commissioner, working at the heart of one of the world’s most scrutinised public institutions. He manages the Commissioner’s relationships with government, oversees external relations, and helps the Met navigate a period of serious change. A lot of the job is working out how to get things done in a large, complicated organisation — cutting through competing demands and finding ways to make progress.
