About

Signal Processing specialist with a PhD in Electrical Engineering from Delft University of Technology. Currently at the Netherlands Organisation for Applied Scientific Research (TNO), I focus on radar signal processing, radar tracking, wireless communication, and sensor fusion, applying machine learning to real-world challenges. I hold a master’s degree from Villanova University and completed an internship at the Vodafone Chair at TU Dresden. Additionally, I have hands-on automotive tech experience and conducted research at the Fraunhofer Institute. Passionate about advancing radar systems through innovative solutions.

Experience

  • Radar System Engineer at TNO
    Jan 2024 - Present · 2 yrs 7 mos

  • Radar Engineer and scientist (PhD candidate) at Delft University of Technology
    Jan 2020 - Dec 2023 · 4 yrs

PhD candidate for distributed radar sensor networks and applying signal processing methods to perception tasks using Machine learning/Deep learning.

  • Radar Researcher at Villanova University
    Jan 2019 - Dec 2019 · 1 yr

The Center for Advanced Communications at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering is a leading edge research center for radar-based human motion detection. I work on transient motion detection and machine learning classification methods. The research combines signal processing to track the target via radar, image processing to extract the necessary information from the Time-Frequency representation and machine learning algorithm development for classification processing.

  • Visiting Researcher at Vodafone Chair Mobile Communications Systems
    Jun 2018 - Aug 2018 · 3 mos

Worked on physical layer abstraction simulation for wireless communication Compared the performance under fading channel conditions between IEEE802.11p vs LTE-V2V, both are vehicular communication standards Based on this work was an independent study thesis

  • Scientific Research Assistant at Fraunhofer Institute for Machine Tools and Forming Technology IWU
    Aug 2015 - Mar 2017 · 1 yr 8 mos

I worked as a scientific assistant in the department Automatization and Monitoring for nearly two years. Furthermore, I wrote my final theses in the same department about: "Concept for a safety transmission of fast image sequences with a multi-camera system". My work was specialized in image processing and network communication.
