• Assist individual student with academic and social tasks in individual and group settings • Redirect poor behavior using positive reinforcement methods • Monitors student’s behavior and emotions using daily records. • Provide one-on-one attention to student, while overseeing entire class of students • Attend faculty meetings regarding individual student and school climate
Responsibilities include reinforcing lessons by reviewing materials with students at an individual and group level, applying schoolwide and classroom rules to ensure appropriate conduct, supervising students in the educational setting, and assist students with developmental disabilities during classroom instruction.
As an intern, I work in a classroom with children of developmental disabilities, practicing the elements of Applied Behavioral Analysis. I have worked with all students on individual goal work, including academic and vocational skills. In addition, I have had the opportunity to shadow various types of assessments on multiple students.
My responsiblities included providing assistance to art center administrative office and other office staff. In addition, I was responsible for completing membership/class registrations, as well as, supervising and overseeing summer day camp functions.
Responsibilities included preparation of specialty salads for customers, served customer purchasing natural healthy juices, salads, sandwiches, and other health food products
