I lead Expedia Group's B2B Legal Team, which provides legal support to the Travel Partnerships and Advertising (TPA) team, the Expedia Group B2B team and the Procurement and Real Estate teams. The B2B Legal Team also supports EG’s Partner Product and Pricing teams and also includes the Legal Operations team. TPA builds and maintains relationships with travel suppliers in the hotel, vacation rental, air, car, activities and cruise spaces and also includes the Expedia Group Advertising business, which works with travel advertisers, both on and off Expedia Group’s websites. Expedia Group B2B provides a pipeline of travel supply and technology to third-party companies employing Expedia Group's white-label and co-branded travel solutions. The B2B Legal Team provides legal support on a variety of matters, including commercial negotiations, dispute resolution, regulatory strategies and compliance, and strategic initiatives, including product and technology initiatives. The Legal Operations part of the B2B Legal Team provides operational support to the overall Expedia Group Legal team, finding and managing efficient solutions, both from a people and a technology perspective.
I co-taught a Contracts Practice class at Seattle University Law School. Students taking this course received training and practical experience in the life cycle of a contract, from drafting, to negotiating to dispute resolution.
Lead the Lodging Partner Services, Hotels.com and EAN legal teams, providing legal support for Expedia's hotel relationships, including deal negotiation with individual and chain hotel partners, as well as brand and consumer issues of Expedia's hotel-only points of sale. In addition, my team manages regulatory issues relating to Expedia's relationship with hotels. Previously led the Partner Services Group legal team, providing support for negotiations with hotel, airline and car partners. Also previously led the legal team providing support for Egencia, Expedia's corporate travel management company.
