Within the REARC partnership, I lead the detailed design of the hydrogen pipeline route between IJmuiden and the Hemweg Power Plant in Amsterdam for Gasunie/Hynetwork. The challenge lies in the integrated design of approximately 10+ disciplines within a project that is heavily influenced by stakeholders and changes from the client. Besides being part of the energy transition in Hydrogen I'm currently part of redevelopemnt project for TenneT HV-stations in Geertruidenberg and Eemhaven region.
For the project Hollandse Kust West I currently securing the Inter Array Cable Supply and the Cable Protection Systems. In the Tender stage, or early works it is key to secure all requirements are well embedded in the contract documentations and agreed delivery is to employers demands whilst assuring the Van Oord construction requirements are met. Another assignment was As Works Manager was responsible for the Horizontal Directional Drilling Onshore to Offshore for the use of a Export Cable of the Greater Changhua Offshore Windfarm. In a short amount of time this project was executed after detection of a failure in first cable lay.
Project Management Contributions; Contributed to the construction of #13 V117 4.2Mw turbines in Belgium and lead the preparatory work for #37 V162 5.8Mw turbines in the Dutch Flevo polder. Focused on collaborative teamwork and effective project coordination. Supporting Sustainable Energy Goals: Aided in the delivery of key renewable energy projects within the BeNeLux region, playing a supportive role in advancing regional green energy capacities and sustainability initiatives. Collaborative Team Efforts: Worked closely with a diverse team of professionals, emphasizing teamwork and shared responsibility. Played a part in ensuring project milestones were met efficiently, contributing to the team's overall success. NACO, as part of the joint venture TASANA, is the Master Civil Engineer for the multi-billion New Mexico City International Airport (NAICM) project. As the Airport specialist, NACO is responsible for the design of the runways, taxiways, aprons and various other aviation related design works. As the resident project manager, I coordinated the design for the Cargo Terminal and the Automated People Mover.
Benthem Crouwel NACO (BCN) is the principal architect, engineer and airport consultant for Amsterdam Airport Schiphol (AAS). We are consulted for all kinds of designs, studies and advice for the physical and functional, development of the airport. The redevelopment of ´Terminal 1´ is one of the prime projects I conducted as PM.
The Pier project is the largest project, in construction, at Schiphol. On behalf of the client I manage the Pier Designer AECOM. The scope is to secure the clients requirements, legislation and changes are implemented in the design and brought to execution
