Experienced Automotive Senior Account Manager with a demonstrated history of working in the chemicals industry, especially Engineering Plastics. I started my career in a Plastics Manufacturing Job and developed via technical and commercial roles in the fields of Optical Media, Automotive Electronics, Automotive Exteriors and Automotive Interiors my business acumen to work as one of Trinseo's senior sellers in their Automotive Group for Europe. • Working as a Senior Account Manager for Dow Chemical serving the Automotive Industry in Europe. • Managing several large Tier 1 suppliers for the Automotive Industry to manage good relationships, maintain and grow our volumes and actively hunt for new opportunities for the future. • Introduce actively our new products and new technologies for ABS Copolymers and Polycarbonate-ABS Blends to key partners to strengthen our relationship and our position as strategic suppliers.
Working as Application Development Engineer for the Dow's Automotive Business. • Actively work on positioning Dow's products and services for next generation car models for Ford, MINI, Jaguar/Landrover and Hyundai-Kia. • Managed several large nominations for Dow's Automotive Plastics resulting in new business for new BMW MINI programs, KIA Ceed, Ford S-Max, Ford Galaxy, Ford Mondeo and several Landrover models.
Working as Application Development and Sales Engineer for the Dow's Engineering Plastics division. • Actively work on positioning new Dow's products (Syndiotactic Polystyrene and Polyamid 6.6 blends) for new Automotive Electronics applications. • Managed several large nominations for Dow's Engineering Plastics division resulting in new business for new Automotive Electronics applications via key suppliers as Tyco Electronics, Robert Bosch GmbH, Molex, FCI Connectors, Siemens/VDO and Conti-Temic.
