Since 2009 I am responsible for mechanical testing within the competence cluster New Technologies, Architecture and Metals. Material characterisation as input for coldforming simulations, e.g. tensile testing with repset to stress-strain, strain rate dependency, temperature dependency (-70C - 900C), creep behavior, vertical anisotropy. Erichsen testing for planair anisotrpoic behavior. Guiding validation of the models via metallography, hardness profiles and geometrical measurements. Dynamic testing to predict fatigue life of materials and components. Consultant for failure analysis in the field of metallography and mechanical testing. Maintenance of competence via ceminars and specific trainings.
