Inspection of bridge construction on the I - 90 Illinois Tollway expansion in Kane and McHenry counties in northern Illinois.
Structural design of additions and repairs to industrial facilities. At the BP refinery in Whiting, IN, design of electrical substation supporting structure and foundations. Design of the cable tray supports associated with the substation power distribution. I also checked structural capacity of existing structures for adequacy to facilitate the repair and/or replacement of vessels and duct work during refinery turnaround operations.
Led the structural design efforts for the construction of building additions and alterations as well as supports for process equipment installations at USG gypsum board and ceiling tile plants. Conducted facility condition evaluations of corporate manufacturing facilities across the United States and in Canada. Compiled engineering man hour estimates for use in the analysis of project feasibility.
