See https://www.springerprofessional.de/en/data-driven-decision-making/24668834 Author of the book "Welcome in an almost optimized World" (in Dutch only; 2017). In this book, the use of analytics or data science for improved decision making is explained, by introducing a.o. the Plus Decision Model. In cases, the opportunities of using data science for the Sustainable Development Goals are explained. Also author of the book "Welcome to the New World of Planning" (in English, 2007). This book explains what is new in the world of resource planning, especially in vehicle routing and workforce planning. Different technologies are covered which are being used to exploit the opportunities of data driven decision making. This book covers early examples of the application of data driven decision making.
