• Presenting offers and negotiating contracts with European and Middle Eastern Clientele to close transactions for Cybersecurity SAAS solutions and services as well as Cloud Migration services. Developed the sales pipeline and formulated strategies for penetration into new markets.
• At Staktec, I streamlined operations from a stakeholder’s perspective and aligned the processes to achieve our objectives. Put an SOP in place to serve as a reference point for all company activities. Was also responsible for monitoring business performance , networking with external partners and providing support to critical functions. Implemented a project organizing User Acceptance Testing (UAT)of our new HR solution in coordination with the system analysts for the integration of compliance features.
Started the company from ground up including hiring a new team, identifying a feasible business location and negotiated all subsequent facilities, locations and workshop rentals and other services with 3PL providers to ensure a smooth launch. Performed the role of a HR manager, Public Relations Officer, Operations head and Finance head simultaneously till the new team was onboarded. Oversaw the digitalization of the processes in our Transport Management Systems (TMS). • Secured 2 major contracts and increased our business by 200 % in the first 3 years of operation. Daily financial management to control and reduce costs and sustain profitability, relationship management, networking, problem solving and leadership to ensure smooth operations with minimal service failures. Negotiating with vendors for vehicle purchases and sales to realize most competitive purchase prices and maximum resale values. • The company was sold in December 2016. However, I was retained as a consultant for a year to assist with the systems integration for the new management team. I wrote several test scenarios for simulation and subsequent verification of new features and functionalities which were added to the TMS and then subsequently supervised the testing and validation and then the training to the end users in the new team after the integration.
Progressed up the organization from Accountant to Divisional General Manager over a period of 18 years and a brief summary of responsibilities are outlined below: • Led the operations of the largest private transport provider in the UAE. • Managed and supervised over 1100 personnel including a team of managers, supervisors and dispatchers of over 60 members which were responsible for 24/7 operations. • Negotiated, onboarded and renewed major contracts with Governments, Airlines and Multinational Companies, across all sectors of Industry including Defense and Diplomatic Missions which were concluded with various State Departments and Ministries. • Headed up a major profit center and achieved revenue and profit targets set out by the board. • Was a part of the operations team when we onboarded the Emirates Airlines contracts in 1995 for their Flight and Cabin Crew, First Class and Business Class passengers, Staff and internal airport shuttles which are a major 24/7 operation. We then went on to secure major Military, Energy companies, Multinationals, Major Hotel Chains and School Contracts and had a virtual monopoly in the transportation space in the UAE. • Was the Project Manager of the team that led the pioneering project from a Business Analyst perspective, which involved the automation of our operational processes and integrated technology into our transportation management and scheduling systems in order to optimize performance, streamline operations and rationalize costs. Oversaw the entire project for over a year in which time we transitioned from a manual to an automated scheduling process for our entire Emirates and other limousine operations and then deployed it in our mass transport operations. . Actively involved in all aspects of the static and dynamic testing and validation of the solution.
