• Built full-stack RAG systems with LLaMA, Phi, FastAPI, Elasticsearch/OpenSearch, and Milvus, enabling secure, scalable AI-powered applications. • Integrated LLMs with structured JSON outputs for downstream automation tasks; contributed to deployment and performance tuning. • Developed interactive UIs in React and TypeScript to support tools for data lake access and RAG-powered chatbots. • Owned major parts of MCP-based integrations for agentic workflows, covering backend orchestration, tool-calling support, and user-managed integrations across external tools and IDE clients such as VS Code and Cursor.

• Contributed towards the Firm’s cloud-first strategy on enterprise applications providing bulk email services with analytics reporting, data loss prevention, complex personalizations, etc. using Java and Spring Boot. • Enabled cloud-based application configuration generation on AWS S3 buckets. • Upgraded 2 containerized applications on OpenShift (built on Kubernetes) to function completely on the cloud, by enabling persistent storage and configuration loading, using Java, Docker, and Helm charts.

HKSTP InnoAcademy is HKSTP’s new initiative to develop forward-looking learning and training programmes with our ecosystem partners to upskill talents & boost the competitiveness of Hong Kong’s innovation and technology (I&T) industry. During the programme, I received training and mentoring, participated in project-based activities, and received exposure to the Innovation and Technology ecosystem in Hong Kong & GBA. Throughout the 2-month internship at HKSTP, I worked on a group project with external consultants, that involved interviewing executives of various companies in Hong Kong, in order to identify gaps in the technology ecosystem in Hong Kong, and reach feasible solutions to rectify these issues.
