Responsibilities: ▪ Support maintenance team to troubleshoot control related issues to reduce downtime using Siemens step7/TIA or Allen Bradley Rslogix 500/ Studio 5000. ▪ Continuously upgrade plant servers and network security to support DCS/SCADA systems currently running on Wonderware platform. ▪ Maintain a structured format to regularize backups for all PLCs, HMIs and servers. ▪ Support team in restoring equipment to basic conditions while upgrading PLC and HMIs ▪ Support Capex team in FAT’s and project scopes. ▪ Maintain calibration records for instruments.
ACHIEVEMENTs · Assist to upgrade the control systems at the Campari RO water Supply plant resulting in a 15% improvement in water quality. · Modify the Distillation Plant PLC system in the winery to achieve significant reduction in downtime at the J. Wray& Nephew Factory. · Design and fabricate PLC system to control the total water flow to mixing tanks within 0.1% of set point for Jambisco using Allen Bradley Compact Logix and Panelview plus HMI. · Fabricate/wire push button start/stop control panel for conveyor motors at the Jambisco Kiss Factory on time and within budget. · Design and fabricate well water control system using an Omron controller and a pressure transmitter to control well tank level within 0.5% of set point. · Monitor and maintain the water level at 1m +/- 0.1m, PH level at 9 +/- 1, temperature at 28 C +/- 2 C of a pond using a microcontroller.
