Newtown, Connecticut, United States
Hi, I’m Roman Verna, an incoming third-year student at Syracuse University’s Newhouse School of Public Communication majoring in Broadcast and Digital Journalism with a minor in Geography at the Maxwell School. Here, I am the News Director of CitrusTV- Syracuse University's student-run television station. As an avid member of the News Department, I oversee a staff of over 50 student volunteers working together to make hyper-local, campus focused journalism. In addition to my leadership role, I help to produce nightly newscasts and work as a MMJ whenever possible. In the future, I hope to continue my production and reporting experience in the real world. “Be nice to each other- it’s all that really matters” - Dawn Hochsprung 🤘
