Cohen & Company is a leading financial adviser in a sale of distressed debt and assets in Eastern Europe; in the last 12 months alone, the team has been the exclusive sales advisor to over $1 bn of credit and asset sales Accomplishments: • Assisted the team in creating an Emerging Markets Distressed Loan Portfolio, involving market research and direct contact with prospective sellers and investors • Prepared and maintained financial models for valuation of distressed loans (including corporate loans) • As the only team member with a legal background, I also worked on the legal structure of a securitisation transaction which involved searching, appointing and communicating with external legal advisors and delivering a presentation on the legal issues of the transaction
