I am privileged to serve as the Head of Technical Operations for the Klosterfrau Group in Berlin, leading a skilled team of 35 technicians and engineers. Our collective focus is on continuously and dynamically advancing technological progress. Our work spans a wide array of challenges, from ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities to embracing advanced technologies like Artificial Intelligence and Industry 4.0. We are dedicated to significantly contributing to the development and efficiency of the Klosterfrau Group through innovative solutions and ongoing enhancements. A key part of our role includes the professional realization of major projects, such as the establishment of a new syringe factory featuring an end sterilization process and the development of new production facilities for solid dosage forms.
Management of entire M&A process (for aquision of brands, companies, production sites) from first meeting till deal closing (10 - 100 Mio.€).
Management of most significant projects within the TechOps business unit of Klosterfrau Group and close daily work with CEO/CFO e.g. concept, implementation and communication of new strategy, concept and implementation of several cost cutting measures, preparation of major investments >10M€, project management of SCM part for new products e.g. COC syringe, support of partner CMOs in getting GMP license etc.
Management of projects and coaching of employees within finance and general management area e.g. introduction of profit center concept and mindset, introduction of standard group wide project management methods, optimization of all processes within contract manufacturing area e.g. transfer process, introduction of group wide top management reporting etc.
Consulting of leading Life Science and Pharmaceutical (Evonic, Merck, Grünenthal, Bayer) companies within international environment (e.g. Romania, Russia, North Africa etc.) and close work with top management. Strong focus on Management Reporting, Financial planning & forecasting, strategy development and strategy processes as well as long list of process optimization within the finance and general management area.
