Alfresco sells ECM & BPM solutions based on an open source core in a variety of deployment models including on-premise and SaaS. These solutions are sold both directly and via partner channels to both large and small accounts and to a variety of core sectors including Public Sector, Manufacturing, and Utilities. * Responsible for managing, hiring and retaining a team of senior enterprise pre-sales consultants covering France, Spain and Italy. * The role itself involves day-to-day resource management in support of both enterprise and corporate accounts, mentoring, building and maintaining strategic relationships with regional partners, as well as presenting at Alfresco conferences and supporting customer and partner events * In addition to the management requirements, the role is also hands on with respect to opportunity support. Working as a developer and technical expert as part of department specialised in providing integration / custom developments focused on using and deploying Open Source solutions to different customers in various sectors. As part of that project, after facing a performance issue and using profiling tools, i provided Alfresco engineering with a fix for a critical bottleneck in one the components used that in some cases decreased response times by a factor of 20.
