Responsible for Oney Group Global insurance activities. In charge of product creation and distribution across Oney banks. Chairman of Oney Insurance which underwrites 150m€ of PPI, A&H and Affinity products (e.g. Pet insurance) distributed through Oney banks or independent brokers in more than 10 countries in Europe. President & CEO of In Confidence Insurance, Oney Group broker specialized in Affinity Insurance with 200 programs (e.g. Extension Warranty, Damage, Theft, Loss) in France and across Europe. These programs are carried by Oney Insurance or by other Insurance companies.
Defined the Strategy and the multi-dimensional Transformation of the 2 global business lines (€ 1.1bn GWP, 3000+ employees over 20+ countries): organisation, systems, processes, culture. Executed the Transformation of the Travel global business line with € 70m project budget. - Strategy: defined differentiating tech-centric strategies enhancing the 2 business lines profitability in their B2B2C markets. - Focus on efficiency: savings € +7m above plan after 2 years. Implemented a quick business turn-around through a new operating model (including creation of regional hubs -60% employees-). - Focus on sustainability: savings € +7m > plan on year 2. Repositionned the Bancassurnace business of AXA Mexico on the Affinity segment achieving a full and rapid turn-around: profitability, growth, quality of service and employee satisfaction. - Strategy: pruned the portfolio and built new profitable growth engines . - Business development: sales > € 150m. Responsible for the team of 70 in charge of distribution through Bancassurance (incl. HSBC, Santander, AMEX, ScotiaBank, Citi Bank) and Affinity (e.g. Airlines, Telco, Retailers). Led the Latin-American RFPs. - Focus on efficiency: turned-around profitability from € -5m to € +5m in 2 years. - Multichannel: diversified distribution in direct or through brokers, with Face2Face and tech-centric channels. - Marketing: streamlined product offer including socialy responsible and innovative small tickets solutions. - Customer satisfaction: improved radically key accounts customer satisfaction (e.g. AMEX, by 10 folds in 2 years). - Leadership: team employee satisfaction increased by +14pts in 1 year to a higher level than AXA Mexico and AXA Group averages. - Innovation: won AXA Mexico Innovation Award in 2014.
Defined and rolled out AXA Mexico Vision. Negotiated & integrated HSBC Non-Life Insurance portfolio aquisition and 10-year distribution agreement. - Strategy: steered the aspirational vision definition with board members and management. Rolled it out dividing it into 40 actions and executing the adoption plan (i.e. maturity model, communication plan, inclusion into the budget and the individual objectives’ processes). - Business development: negotiated and implemented the acquisition of HSBC Non-Life Insurance portfolio and of the 10-year distribution exclusivity for Non-Life products (Retail & SME) in its Face-to-Face, call centre, tech channels.
Revamped and scaled-up the distribution and the portfolio management of Insurance clients in the UK . Major contribution to the Friends Life - AXA deal. - Account management: developped commercial relationships with Insurance companies (£ 47 bn AUM). Increased client satisfaction despite financial crisis. - Investment: led the teams (30+) managing Insurance Investment UK Equity, UK Balanced and Multi-Managers portfolios, disciplinizing investment processes. Developped Investment Solutions' offer in the UK in relation with distribution and brokers. - Business development: negotiated the asset management part of the Friends Life - AXA deal (i.e. cession of the AXA UK Life book £ 43bn AUM).
Advised, conceived and implemented investment solutions, leveraging AXA Investment Managers relevant teams to optimize the profitability of AXA France general account (€110bn AUM). - Account management: orchestrated a € 5bn REPO program in 5 months and the de-risking of portfolios to better face up to the financial crisis. Negotiated new fee structure. - Customer satisfaction: increased client satisfaction despite very difficult financial markets and operations outsourcing to StateStreet.
AXA Group Head Office. Assisted the US Insurance and the Asset Management entities in their planning process, in the identification of new development axis as well as in the convergence of their methods. - Business development: contributed to the Money acquisition by AXA Financials ($ 1bn). - Project management: led a team of experts to create a Long Term Incentive Plan for AXA Investment Managers executives.
AXA Group Head Office. Consolidated accounts and analysed profitability of AXA Investment Managers and of P&C Asian entities. Participated in the financial audit of the Property & Casualty entities in Singapore and Australia.
