• Collaborates with team on pricing decisions, the selection of supplier and timing of shipments • Integrating Freight Management Inc Services within the US and Mexican manufacturing and distribution both within the united states and over the border. • Participates in face-to-face meetings, typically partnering with a more senior sales representative • Transitions account or may handle operational execution (sourcing carriers, negotiating rates, problem-solving, manage issues, and other tasks as required) of the business • Works with manager in forecasting, business planning, and strategy • Solicit new business through phone (inbound & outbound) sales • Contact potential customers to persuade them to use Direct Drive Logistics or Direct Drive Express which is an asset based company thats has been in business 21 years • Service sales calls with potential and current customers • Explain the details of all DIrect Drive Logistics services including: truckload, less than truckload, intermodal, rail and international to potential customers • Assist and convert customers to fully utilize web based solution for shipping • Recommend changes to current customers regarding their transportation needs • Solicit new accounts by contacting potential customers to persuade them to use services • In depth on boarding to new customers as well as providing continual growth services.) Financial management and account receivables • Provide rate quotes to customers for services • Recommend changes to current customers regarding their transportation needs • Prepare sales contacts for new accounts • Manage Transportation Management Systems both in house and existing customer TMS • Independently identifying and qualifying new growth opportunities • Assisting in hard closes.
