I am a soon-to-be graduate in Energy and Environmental Engineering with a strong focus on machine learning, neural networks, and industrial automation. My profile combines engineering fundamentals with hands-on development of intelligent, data-driven systems for real-world applications. Throughout my studies, I have worked with ML and NN models, applying them to system modeling, prediction, and decision-making tasks in engineering contexts. I am comfortable moving from data and modeling to implementation, evaluation, and integration within larger technical systems. My thesis involves designing a computer vision-based smart fridge system that integrates machine learning, edge computing, sensors, and IoT to enable automated inventory monitoring with a strong focus on robustness, scalability, and real-world deployment. Alongside ML, I have solid experience in industrial automation and control systems, including PLC programming with PLCnext / PLCnext Engineer, Factory IO simulations, OPC UA communication, and HMI development. I am particularly interested in the intersection of automation and intelligent algorithms, and how ML can enhance control, efficiency, and sustainability in energy and industrial systems. I am now seeking roles in automation, control engineering, or applied AI/ML, where I can contribute to real engineering projects and continue developing my expertise. I was co-founding the event-, accommodation- and restaurant business on a more than 100-year-old ship. We hosted for example sauna and party events. We also organized rib-safaris and jet ski rental.
