I worked at JMD News for six months, where I gained hands-on experience in multiple aspects of digital journalism and media operations. During this period, I was actively involved in social media management, from uploading news content to optimizing posts for better reach and engagement. I handled platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube, ensuring timely and accurate publishing of news updates. Along with content uploading, I also worked on SEO (Search Engine Optimization), where I learned how to write headlines, descriptions, and tags that help content rank better on search engines. I focused on creating viral and engaging content by understanding audience behavior, trending topics, and platform algorithms. My role also included editing captions, selecting thumbnails, and ensuring that every post was visually appealing and informative.
