I have grown up, studied and worked across cities, states, countries and continents and these experiences have helped me develop a deep appreciation for diversity of all kinds; People, Cultures, Preferences and Behaviors. As a Human Resource/ People and Culture Professional for 14 years at some incredible companies, I can confidently say that I am a Business enabler through People and Culture transformation. My job, at its very core is to ensure that people can focus on their core competence. Hire the right people, create a conducive environment, provide them with the requisite know-how, keep them engaged and ensure that they are treated fairly so that they can go about doing their job without having to worry about anything else. As an avid Cricket enthusiast and player, I often draw analogies and examples from the game to communicate my ideas and perspectives. So stop me after the first bouncer whizzes past you!

    I got this job by showcasing the importance and relevance of the "Bell Curve" using Quantitative Data from Cricket as an analogy and weaving it into a storytelling narrative! Reporting to the CHRO, I was responsible for all talent and culture related initiatives at a company with a history of being a trendsetter when it comes to people practices. The most satisfying project was the Employer Re-branding aspect wherein we had to pivot from being just a content company to being a holistic Tech-First ecosystem. We built user personas, predicted trends, altered our traditional approach, changed our way of life, talked about our culture, our vision for the future and took the fight to behemoths with much deeper pockets and traditionally stronger brands. The result: Went from languishing and always chasing to being in the Top 10 in India on LinkedIn Talent Brand Index, easily ahead of every competitor from the industry and also against the aspirational benchmarks that we dared to pit ourselves against.
