An E-Commerce website selling photos taken in simulators and events that I have attended. I pride my work with care, time, and attention to detail. I have also used my website to sell a service, creating custom posters and artwork. I have developed my skill of communication by talking to external companies and customers, catering to their needs. Setting the website up also gave me good insight as to what a business needs to excel at: DNS records (how they work and can be utilised), mailing lists (how they can be utilised to effectively communicate) and more. I am able to transfer these skills to my everyday life.
Using a combination of Microsoft Flight Simulator and VATSIM has allowed me to gain insight into how pilots go about their jobs. Having over 100 hours of simulator flight time, I have learnt in depth the protocols and systems airlines, pilots, and other teams within the airport use. *VATSIM: Service that recreates the airfield for simulator users, providing an online air traffic control and flying community for aviation enthusiasts.
My role is to create advertisements to attract new/existing customers into the app. I use a range of applications, such as Adobe Illustrator. Adobe photoshop, Adobe lightroom and Adobe after effects. Alongside this, i have been in close contact with 3rd party businesses during self-led collaborations. This led me to create graphical advertisements to help promote the deal. While working on graphics, I also had a focus on client out reach, communicating with larger companies, and creating openings for Sphere to excel. This led to attending events where I worked as a photographer.
Using my graphic design skills, I created posters for the companies that were sponsoring and attending this event. My work was included and printed in the event organisers book, which was given to attendees.
