Rogier van de Weijer is an experienced Business Development Manager capable of introducing the company in new area’s and developing new markets successfully. Rogier works as Blue Phoenix Group international business development manager. Rogier started with the Dutch branch of the company in 2011 and became responsible for the expansion of Blue Phoenix Group activities in new markets in 2017. In the past years Blue Phoenix has grown from a Waste to Energy residues recycling company into a multidisciplinary waste management group, active in energy from waste, non ferrous metals upgrading, construction and demolition waste recycling and tar-containing asphalt recycling. Blue Phoenix owns and operates recycling facilities globally and take responsibility for the recycling and compliant and sustainable application of recovered raw materials, reducing materials to landfill and contributing to the circular economy. Rogier studied commercial economics and prior to working in the domain of waste Rogier held various commercial roles in international teams in the IT industry. Rogier has a high energy level and is an enthusiastic presenter at conferences and board levels. Rogier is native Dutch and speaks English and French fluently.

    Inashco stands for incinerator ash company. Incinerator ash (bottom ash) is the residue that results from municipal solid waste incineration at Waste to Energy plants. Inashco has taken a leading role in providing a solution for the further upgrading of bottom ash by decreasing metal contaminations to minimal levels. While producing mineral products with attractive characteristics for the building and construction industry, the extracted metals are efficiently upgraded into valuable metal products. These metals would normally end up with the bottom ash in landfills or as low grade filling material in construction projects, forming an environmental hazard with regards to groundwater and air pollution. Inashco brings substantial ecological and economical advantages to the industry. Together with our parent company Fondel we have access to the global metals market.
