I’ve spent the last two decades building and operating ecommerce businesses across the UK and Europe — hands-on across digital marketing, growth, customer acquisition and online trading. Not as a consultant watching from the sidelines, but as an operator with skin in the game. Over time, one problem kept surfacing: unreliable conversion tracking and declining confidence in marketing data. Fragmented setups, freelancer implementations that drifted, shifting privacy standards — and a growing uncertainty about whether advertising platforms were actually receiving accurate signals. That problem became my focus. Searching for real solutions led me to server-side tracking infrastructure and the SaaS platforms built to remove that technical complexity for brands and agencies. Most recently I’ve been developing the UK market for Shoplytics, working with ecommerce brands and agencies on: • Server-side tracking and conversion APIs • Advertising signal quality and data reliability • Performance marketing infrastructure Having operated as both a brand founder and a BD partner to agencies, I understand the commercial pressures from both sides — founder-level urgency around scaling, and the practical impact that broken tracking has on ad performance and decision-making. I’m particularly interested in where this space is heading: server-side infrastructure, AI-assisted analytics, advertising signal quality, and practical technology that genuinely moves the needle for ecommerce brands.
