The Medicare Marketing unit reporting to me: - Develops and deploys direct marketing campaigns for TV, mail, and email. We develop and deploy branding and awareness campaigns using a variety of channels from newspaper inserts to mass transit bus wraps. Creative is written in-house and with vendor assistance. I have direct control over the multi-million dollar marketing budget. - Is responsible for developing broker collateral. We develop recruitment pieces to continually grow our broker channel, and also develop compliant, compelling creative that the brokers can personalize. We facilitate mailings for high-performing brokers. The Medicare Product Management unit reporting to me: - Performs continual analysis of the competitive market and regulatory/funding environment to ensure that Medicare product continuum remains viable for several years. - Works with Actuarial department to analyze product models and develop those with the greatest competitive advantage. - Develops positioning strategy for each product. Includes development of annual Lock-In and AEP goals. - Develops sales presentations and collateral. - Acts as product champion to ensure proper operational support is in place for all Medicare Advantage, Medicare Supplement, Part D, and Senior Ancillary products.
Directed all activities within the three departments of the Medicare Part D Programs department. Ensured that market-competitive products were in place and managed the internal and PBM operations required to properly administer the plan. Worked with our Veridign subsidiary to grow business in ASO services.
Reporting directly to the VP of e-Business: - Assisted in the entire spectrum of tasks involved in creating and deploying www.colonialpenn.com and its future releases. - Assisted in the evaluation of multiple e-Business contractors including Dynamic Content vendors, System Integrators, Media Placement firms and Email and land mail list brokers. Managed all contracts with selected vendors.
