I have been in the construction industry for 40 years. I started my career in the concrete industry in 1977. From there I worked for a local glass company installing windows, doors, and glass for 15 years. In 1994 I started my own business. I did both commercial and residential remodels as well as glass solariums construction. After 20 years in business I decided to take a job with Miele Construction where I was a lead journeyman framer and finish carpenter on commercial multi-family dwellings. In 2014 I went to work for Ausland Group where I have served as a Superintendent/Supervising Foreman. I was Superintendent on on various commercial projects including UO Beall Hall concert hall acoustic canopy retrofit, Harrisburg Elementary/Middle School remodel and seismic upgrade, Southern Oregon Friends of Hospice historical house commercial remodel and addition, UO Robinson Theater stage rigging replacement.
Superintendent or foreman on but not limited to the following projects: UO Agate Hall – Supervising foreman on commercial remodel - $2,500,000 UO Knight Library – Supervising foreman on HVAC upgrade - $2,000,000 UO Beall Hall– Superintendent on concert hall acoustic canopy retrofit - $150,000 Harrisburg Elementary/Middle School – Superintendent on remodel and seismic upgrade - $1,500,000 Southern Oregon Friends of Hospice – Superintendent on historical house commercial remodel and addition - $2,000,000 Springfield City Hall – Superintendent on tenant Improvement project - $100,000 UO Robinson Theatre – Superintendent on stage rigging replacement - $250,000 Work directly with project managers, project coordinators, engineers, and architects to accomplish project goals and meet deadlines. Professional commercial and residential remodel projects from start to finish. Oversee project from initial contact with customer through planning phase, job cost estimates, actual work process, and completion of project. Troubleshoot and diagnose problems to determine what is needed to make effective repairs. Manage time, materials, and costs necessary for completion of project. Supervise and train employees. Communicate effectively with customers regarding scheduling, problem solving, and completion of projects.
