Working in the field of water quality and river management. My special interests are in watershed management, wetland restoration, lake quality, river hydrology, hydraulics, and water quality. Extensive experience in Everglades restoration. President of American Water Resources Association Florida Section. Co-chair of planning committee for AWRA National Conference, Orlando, November 2020. Currently working on a watershed restoration project in the Charlotte Flatwoods south of Punta Gorda. The project is a collaboration of FDOT with multiple stakeholders that will improve wetland hydrology, water quality, and estuarine health while reducing the overall cost of expanding I-75 from 2 to 3 lanes. Started the Tampa office of DHI, and managed numerous projects primarily for SFWMD.
Worked in the Tampa office, and managed projects in Florida and Georgia. The project in Georgia was conducted for Fulton County. A watershed management plan was developed for the Sandy Springs area. I managed the $3,000,000 project that involved 10 staff from the Atlanta B&C office along with four sub-contractors.
Managed water resources group in Bethesda, MD until 1994, and then moved to Tampa, FL to manage the Tampa water resources group.
