I have spent more than 20 years leading offshore operations across the full lifecycle of FPSO assets, from commissioning and startup to mature operations, life extension, preservation, redeployment and decommissioning. Throughout my career, I have been drawn to the projects where operational challenges are greatest. I have held leadership positions in Brazil, the UAE, China and Southeast Asia, working with operators and contractors in demanding offshore environments. My experience combines operational leadership with asset integrity, production performance, contractor management, operational readiness and multidisciplinary team leadership. I believe successful offshore operations are built on strong technical decisions, disciplined execution and empowered people. Offshore Installation Manager (OIM) Lead offshore operations for a jack-up production unit, ensuring safe, reliable and efficient production while representing the operator’s interests across all operational activities and maintaining full compliance with Class, Flag State and regulatory requirements. Led the preservation strategy for a laid-up FPSO, ensuring asset integrity, operational readiness and cost-effective execution throughout the preservation campaign in preparation for future redeployment. • Developed and implemented preservation strategies covering process, mechanical, utility and marine systems to maintain long-term asset integrity. • Led multidisciplinary teams and contractors, ensuring preservation activities were executed safely, efficiently and in accordance with project objectives. • Managed preservation priorities, balancing technical requirements, budget constraints and future operational readiness. • Worked closely with engineering and project management to ensure preservation activities supported future commissioning, startup and offshore operations. • Monitored preservation quality, asset condition and execution performance, minimizing equipment degradation and protecting long-term asset value.

Led the operational planning and execution of FPSO decommissioning activities in Brazil’s Campos Basin, overseeing the safe shutdown and preparation of process systems for asset retirement. Responsible for developing and coordinating the operational decommissioning plan, ensuring that all production systems were safely isolated, cleaned, and prepared for dismantling activities. Operational Decommissioning Planning Developed the operational strategy for the safe shutdown of hydrocarbon processing systems, including flushing, cleaning, and depressurization of process equipment. Process System Decontamination Coordinated flushing campaigns, vessel cleaning, and preparation of process systems to eliminate hydrocarbons and hazardous substances prior to dismantling. NORM Management Oversaw the identification, handling, and safe removal of Naturally Occurring Radioactive Material (NORM) in accordance with regulatory and environmental standards. System Isolation & Safety Assurance Managed safe isolation, gas-freeing, and preparation of vessels and pipelines to allow safe access for maintenance and dismantling teams. Led the Production Department onboard an FPSO, overseeing all process facilities and operations to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient production. Reported directly to the OIM and managed a multidisciplinary production team.
