As Distillery Brand Experience Director, it’s my job to lead the Brand Homes business unit within Proximo Spirits. Reporting directly to our CEO and my main duties include: • Leading, from concept to completion, the development of our new Brand Homes and distilleries in the US and Mexico, while driving the continuous innovation of our existing ones. • Working with Marketing and Brand Home Managers to develop annual marketing strategies for each location, and managing internal and external teams to define annual advertising and promotion budgets. • Ensuring our customers’ experiences meet the Proximo brand’s exacting standards, encouraging positive brand and financial outcomes for each center, and making sure our centers generate brand advocacy within our visitors. • Overseeing the correct management of, but not limited to reservation systems, tour programming, merchandising, Customer Relationship Management and Food & Beverage programs • Establishing Profit and Loss accounts, goals and controls for all of our Brand Homes. • Defining strategic communication plans for each of our locations, and acting as a spokesperson for the Brand Homes and their brands. • Implementing systems for gathering visitor insights that allow us to make better-informed decisions, and develop increasingly successful marketing strategies.
Develop and implement branding oriented PR strategies for all of the company’s brands including Jose Cuervo Tradicional, The Kraken, 1800 Tequila, just to mention a few. Manage media relations, research editorial opportunities to generate publicity and build relationships with key industries. Negotiate and manage international sponsorships. Identify main client groups and audiences and determine the best way to communicate to them. Direct activities of external BTL and PR agencies that implement strategies and information programs. Select films for product placement through the 226 Film Fiscal Incentive law. Serve as company spokesperson. Contribute to the total effectiveness of the department, communicating openly, solving problems proactively, offering creative ideas and working as a positive, engaged team leader. www.josecuervo.com.mx
In charge of implementing editorial and corporate sales strategies with the aim of producing economic surveys for FORTUNE and National Geographic Magazines.
