Rob Kirchner is The General Manager for Citi Retail Services' private label credit card Partnership with The Home Depot. In his prior role as head of Portfolio and Product Management, Rob had full P&L & Product Roadmap responsibility for the suite of credit products supporting The Home Depot. He worked directly with the Partner's Management team to create credit strategies that drive incremental retail sales, enhance the customer experience and value of a growth-oriented credit portfolio. As head of Field Sales Strategy for the Partnership, he was responsible for developing the short and long term strategy for a large national field sales organization supporting the business. A Citi veteran since 2006, Rob joined the company to support a new product launch, working closely with TSYS to build a new rewards platform with new innovative first to market functionality. Within 12 months, his role was expanded to incorporate strategy for Digital and national advertising. Following that, Rob constructed a Product Management organization that would oversee credit products associated with The Home Depot. In that role, he outlined a streamlined strategy, approach and execution that reduced product offerings and improved performance, profitability and Go to Market strategies. Rob began his career with MBNA in Delaware, after quickly becoming one of the top sales professionals he relocated to Boca Raton, Florida. He quickly progressed in Operations earning a reputation for leading people & turning around lower performing teams to top of their divisions. Following that Rob transitioned to Business Development & Marketing, relocated to Atlanta to support the launch of MBNA's first POS Partner Bass Pro Shops, first with responsibility for in-store and call center channels & expanded to include all Marketing channels. He also supported the launch of the first POS credit process "at sea" in Royal Caribbean.
