Preparing and filing of government consents, accurately creating appropriate projects on a per client basis, client contact via telephone or email providing exceptional client care. Communicating effectively via telephone and email with various government agencies regarding tax-payer payment and refund issues. Preparing, recording, and tracking government payments from corporate and personal taxpayers in a timely manner. Assembling client tax packages. Filing hundreds of tax returns with the Federal and Provincial Government agencies both electronically and in paper form.
Reception duties that include: the answering and directing of incoming calls, physical and digital filing, maintaining a client database, general customer service and a variety of computer tasks. Various aspects of administration that include compiling status reports, prioritizing and completing tasks on a large task list, arranging meetings and special occasion gatherings, maintaining regular contact with clients, and assisting with marketing. Office Maintenance: plant care, maintaining supply inventory and tracking usage, time entry for all staff, cleaning and sanitizing various areas of the office. Gathering signatures and information from clients and then filing both corporate and personal taxes with the CRA and Provincial Government. Procedural upkeep and creation. Registering new incorporations, creating minute books, filing annual returns, preparing minutes and invoicing for same.
