Robin is accountable for raising the profile of the Program and Project Management profession within the Bank and for driving program and project management capability and development activities across the bank. He is also accountabe for the creation of the enterprise program/project management training curriculum, the PM accreditation program, and for defining program and project management career paths in alignment with the Bank's Enterprise Project Management Corporate Standard and Enterprise Project Management Framework (EPMF). Robin works with both business and technology teams to align accreditation and development with the Bank's overall workforce/resourcing strategy.
Responsible for working with the Practice Standards and Support head to establish and manage the strategy, principles, standards and guidelines as it relates to strategic initiatives. Accountable to translate the Practice Standards and Support strategy into tactical plans. Also for creating and implementing strategic practices, processes and procedures in order to deliver improved and efficient solutions. Provides strategic thought leadership and is strategically aligned with industry trends.
Accountable for establishing and managing IT BEst Practices group, which is responsible for the strategy, principles, standards and guidelines for Project management and Systems Development within the Bank. IT Best Practices Group holds the centres of cempetency for Project Management, Business Analysis, Development and Testing, and supports professional accreditation for PM/SDLC roles.
