I am passionate about: 1. Making a difference in the world. After seeing the conditions of orphans and the world's poor first-hand during a mission trip to Uganda and while deployed to Afghanistan, I knew my life would never be the same. Rise Again, Inc. was born from these experiences and is one avenue I hope to use to help the marginalized of this world. 2. Solid leadership. I have studied leadership for nearly 20 years. In my 22.5 years in the Air Force, I have led teams of 5 to over 200. My successes are a result of my faith, desire for continuous personal growth, and tapping into the greatness of the people that surround me. I believe there is a solution to any problem and I love to solve them. With the right people and the right vision, we can move any mountain. 3. Sharing hope. I believe everyone has a purpose in life and can positively impact the world around us. My faith is the driving force behind this message.
As the CEO of Rise Again, I provide leadership and vision to help us achieve maximum impact. We received our 501c3 in September 2014. Our first full year of operation was 2015. We are excited to report that in 2018 we are starting the first ever vocational training program in the Kibuli slums of Kampala, Uganda. These efforts will provide impoverished youth with employable skills. Our first cohort will be provided targeted training in the areas of agriculture, carpentry, baking, and auto mechanics. We are currently seeking sponsors/donors to assist with the launch of this effort. Visit our website at www.youcanriseagain.org if you would like to support our efforts or join in the fight to defend the poor and fatherless.
