The National War College is a fully accredited university providing a senior-level education in national security strategy to prepare future military and civilian leaders for high-level policy, command, and staff responsibilities. Recipient of the Commandant's Writing Award for the paper, "America's F-22 Procurement in the Domestic Context: A Victim of Unchanging Strategy in Changing Circumstances."
Commander for all Wing Staff Agencies and the Wing Comptroller Squadron. Responsible for managing the staff, ensuring work schedules met, determining staffing requirements, and interviewing and hiring new employees. Maintained qualifications and currencies in two different aircraft.
Deputy Commander for the 49th Operations Group. Formulated plans and established policies for unit administration, operations, training, employment, supply and safety. Coordinated staff activities pertaining to administration, operations, intelligence, material, comptroller, planning and programming to ensure accomplishment of unit mission. Assisted in the day-to-day oversight and functioning of all MQ-1, MQ-9, T-38, and F-22 operations to include five separate squadrons.
Commander | Chief Operating Officer of one of only five active duty combat-coded F-22 squadrons worldwide, and one that operated two different aircraft, the F-22A and T-38A. Led an organization consisting of 49 assigned and attached F-22/T-38 pilots, with 29 total F-22s and 7 total T-38As. Oversaw all activities tied to the safe operation of all flying operations, and ensured all pilots were properly trained and prepared for worldwide contingencies.
Chief Safety Officer for the 49th Fighter Wing, responsible for the effective conduct of all Air Force safety programs, mishap prevention programs, planning and implementation, mishap investigation and reporting, problem solving and decision making, communicating for safety, Air Force occupational safety and health program, traffic and other off-duty safety programs, inspections and safety office administration.
