Experienced Senior Financial Executive, with extensive exposure to Audit Committee and Board of Directors. Successful track-record of driving improvements related to legal structures, financial reporting, corporate governance and mitigation of financial risks. Have lead successively the Group Consolidations, the Group Financial Planning and Reporting, the Group Audit, the Group Finance functions (Treasury, corporate finance, sales support finance, risk management and insurance) and Group Holdings (focusing on protection of shareholders' ownership interests). In these roles I have had regular interaction with both the Audit Committee and the Group Board.

Lead simplifications of Group’s legal structures Management and control of Group’s holding functions and legal structures, including boards of directors, financing structures / equity and dividends. Implemented e-training for directors.
- Responsible and accountable to the Board of Directors for the day-to-day management of financial risks and Group financing; the risks managed include foreign exchange, interest rates, counterparty risk, raw material price risk, liquidity risk, financing risk, credit risk, insured risks and treasury operational risks. - Responsible for maintaining a consistent methodology to assess credit risks, to manage the central leasing legal entities that provide direct equipment financing to customers, and to provide the advice on the optimal financing structures to be used in a particular market and/or customer, or for a particular project - Leading the Corporate Finance, Treasury, Equipment Financing Solutions and Group Risk Management and Insurance teams. - Managing external relationships with a multitude of key service providers, mainly in the area of banks and insurance. - Engages pro-actively on a cross-functional level, adding value in other areas of Tetra Laval International and the Group; - Effective, service-minded relationships with Management of Group's operating companies.
- Developed risk-based audit strategy and plan to provide assurance to the Audit Committee regarding risk and overall corporate governance in Tetra Laval Group, in particular reporting on quality and completeness of risks reported by Senior Management and on appropriateness and effectiveness of internal controls to mitigate risks; - Secretary to the Audit Committee, supporting the Chairman by preparing meeting agendas, pre-reading material, taking the minutes of Committee meetings and following up on actions decided; - Supported Management to raise level of controls and improve business performance; - Lead Audit team and guest auditors to deliver audit plan, re-shaping the Team to be closer to and better focus on non-European operations; - Implemented whistle-blowing reports follow-up process, led investigations related to alleged frauds and proposed to Management and Audit Committee remediation actions; - Managed overall relationship management of Group's external auditors, achieving significant cost reductions without compromising quality or coverage of audit work.
