Long standing dedicated end-user support, as well as Windows/Linux server support, telecom and network support. I have previously put experience first for solving tasks, but have recently started a certification track to enhance and expand my knowledgebase in various IT fields, ranging from PC support to server and network infrastructure, as well as putting my previous forensics studies to help with analysis and diagnosis of issues in the IT line of work. Specialties: End-user support and translating end user issues into IT requests and solutions, including an application as a means to an end for automating troubleshooting steps. Trouble-shooting various virus and spy-ware related issues Building and implementing images for multi-vendor hardware platforms Maintenance, deployment and configuration of desktop, workstation, laptop and server computers, as well as printers in a LAN environment. I have presented customer service, security and coding training sessions at local and international conventions such as NY Tech Summit in Verona, NY to ZD Spiceworks "Spiceworld".
In additon to being Senior Network Administrator, I am also now IT Director at Miller Environmental Group, in charge of a small but nimble team of IT staff handling everything from helpdesk, deskside, network, server, telephony and application support covering over 2 dozen branches up and down the US east coast.
I started with EPS of VT in 2016, they were purchased by Miller Environmental Group in Dec 2019 where i have continued on with my same role at the Glenmont, NY location. Supporting all devices from mobile, to Windows and network devices.
