Roberto V. Zicari, Prof. Dott. Ing. Born 1955 in Milan. Vice Chair of the Association for Responsible and Trustworthy AI: Z-Inspection® https://z-inspection.org/team-members/rzicari/ Roberto V. Zicari is an affiliated professor at the Yrkeshögskolan Arcada, Helsinki, Finland. He was for 5 years adjunct professor at the Seoul National University, South Korea. He was Visiting Fellow at the Robert Schuman Centre for Advanced Studies (European University Institute (EUI). Roberto V. Zicari is leading a team of international experts who defined an assessment process for Trustworthy AI, called Z-Inspection®. From 1992 till March 2021 he was full professor of database and information systems at the Goethe University of Frankfurt, Germany. He is the Editor of the ODBMS.ORG, the resource web portal for Big Data and New Data Management Technologies: http://www.odbms.org/ He is also the Editor of the ODBMS Industry Watch on "Trends and Information on Big Data, New Data Management Technologies, and Innovation": http://www.odbms.org/blog/ Previously, he was associated professor at Politecnico di Milano, Italy, Visiting scientist at IBM Almaden Research Center, USA, and at the University of California at Berkeley, USA. Visiting professor at EPFL in Lausanne, Switzerland, the National University of Mexico City, Mexico, and the Copenhagen Business School, Denmark. Roberto V. Zicari represented the Object Management Group (OMG) in Europe for over 15 years. He is co-author of the books: - "XML Data Management" (Addison Wesley, 2003), - "Succeeding with Object Databases" (John Wiley & Sons, 2000), - "Advanced Database Systems" (Morgan Kaufmann, 1997), - "Conceptual Modeling, Databases and Case (John Wiley & Sons, 1992). Roberto Zicari holds a doctor of engineering degree from Politecnico di Milano.
