I’m responsible of three teams composed by 23 people. Role: Project Manager & Team Leader I’m in charge of: * defining priorities, managing resources and planning budget * requirements gathering, costs and timings estimating, project planning, executing and controlling * managing the relationship between clients (UBI Banca e UBI Pramerica) , UBISS Top Management and external suppliers * coordinating external suppliers (Murex, Accenture, SIA, Engineering, Sopra, Charles River and Double Consulting, etc…) The Asset Management team is composed by 8 people located in Milan. It has in charge all applications of Pramerica SGR, the asset management company created as a joint venture between UBI Banca and Pramerica Financial (http://www.prudential.com) in 2001. The main project in which I’ve been involved in the last months is the replacement of the Front Office System with The Charles River Investment Management Solution (https://www.crd.com) The Front Office & Derivatives team and the Prorpietary Trading team are located in Brescia. They are composed by 15 people and they are responsible to manage Front, Middle and Back Office applications used by UBI Finance department. Murex is the main application. Projects: activities in the last 3 months * I’ve finalized the tender procedure for the migration from Mxg2000 to Mx3. The project is estimated at more than 6.000 man days with an elapsed of 15 months. The go-live date is planned for dec 2019 * We have completed the MiFID2 requirements: - Transaction Reporting for OTC derivatives and securities - Post Trade Transparency for OTC derivatives and securities - Record Keeping - Best Execution for OTC Derivatives * We are analyzing the IT impact of becoming Systematic Internaliser for OTC Derivatives and for Bond issued by UBI Banca * GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) * Configuration of a new Murex product: CDS (Credit Default Swap), CCS (Cross Currency Swap)
I’m coordinating 2 teams (Front Office & Derivatives team and Prorpietary Trading team) composed by 15 people managing more than 10 applications. Murex is the main application. The project estimates are is more than 800 man days * Configuration and implementation Front to Back new murex modules/products (2015-2017). Effort estimates more than 1500 man days. - FxMM – Forex Money Market - Fx Flexible Forward - Inflation module - Bond Option - Equity Swap - Bond Repos/Classic Repos * EMIR: European Markets Infrastructure Regulation for financial instruments. Portfolio reconciliation, Trade Repository interface, Markit Confirmation, Clearing. Cross on different platforms (2015-2017). Effort estimates more than 1000 man days * IFRS9: on-going project on International Financial Reporting Standard for financial instruments. Cross on different platforms (2017). Effort estimates more than 500 man days * Mifid 2: on-going project. Cross on different platforms (2017). Effort estimates more than 300 man days * Defining Case Study to migrate to Mx3 (2018-2019) The teams are also responsible of Application Maintenance activity * Administration as Supervisor, Configuration, Housekeeper * Support users in the use of the application * Making sure that application is properly running and available
